Another birthday card!!

Hi there!  I have another birthday card to share with you today!  My oldest son is dating an absolutely adorable girl and she had a birthday waaaay back in January!  It is a long story as to why her card is just now getting posted, but I figured better late than never, right?! :)

I used lots of different stamps for this card and also used the new Secret Garden Framelits from the new Spring Mini catalog! Preeeetttyyyy!!!

Side view shows more detail!  I matted the sentiment by punching out two of the darker color and cutting each in half.  One long ways and the other on the short side.  I layered them against the back!  You get more bang for your buck with your punches this way!  I added several little pearls on the front too!

The flowers are much prettier in person!  I water colored them using an aqua painter and then practically covered them with Dazzling Details.  They shimmer!! :)

Details:
Stamps: Creative Elements, Secret Garden and From My Heart
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla and Garden Green
Ink: Cherry Cobbler and Soft Suede
Punches and Dies:  Secret Garden Framelits and Modern Label Punch
Extras: Pearls, Dazzling Details and Dimensionals

I sure hope she likes it! :)

I have been in Orlando Fl the last couple of days with my daughters!  Woo hoooooo!  We went on a girls weekend!! Bet you didn't even notice that I was gone!  I will be back tomorrow though and will  share lots of pictures with you!

Until then...have a great day!

  1. Pretty! I can see that they would shimmer in person so well. I also like that modern punch that you used on the sentiment.
