Big news

Hello!  I have some big news to share today!  I am so excited!!  I have been invited to be a design team member for the wonderful ABC blog hosted by the lovely Patty Gorka!!  ABC stands for All Beautiful Cards and what a fun place it is to hang out!!  So, be sure to come on over and check it out and play along!  There is a new challenge posted every Monday and the design team over there does awesome work!!  My first challenge was to make a card using the color combo Real Red, Pretty in Pink and Very Vanilla or Whisper White.  Here is what I came up with:

My card base is Pretty in Pink and then my layers are Real Red and Whisper White.   Check, check and check!  Although the colors just scream Valentine's Day  I decided to leave the front sentiment-less.

I used the SAB set Madison Avenue and the new smallest scallop circle to make these fun little flowers.  I popped  up the  flower faces using dimensionals!

I added a tiny little rhinestone to each flower.  To make the flower centers I stamped three of the heart filled, heart shaped stamps from Hearts A Flutter and then punched a 1/2" circle from each of them.

Details:
Stamps: Madison Avenue
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Real Red and Whisper White
Ink: Gumball Green, Read Red and Pretty in Pink
Punches and Dies: Smallest Scallop Circle Punch
Extras: Rhinestones and Dimensioanls

I really enjoyed participating in my first ABC challenge and am  looking forward to playing in more of them!  You can find this challenge with all of the information here.

Hope you have a great day!
