Happy (Grand) Mother's Day!

Hey there!  Great news!!  The sun is finally shining here!!  After 4 days of cold dreary rain we finally have some warm sunshine!  I am so excited!  It is the little things, after all! :)  I have a card to share with you today that I made for someone very special to me!!  My grandma (who happens to be one of the coolest ladies on the planet) will be turning 96 in a week!  I worked on her Mother's Day card today and thought I would share it with you!

There is a lot going on on  this card!  I embossed the background with the Honeycomb EF and faux stitched the flower, the butterflies and the main image layer!  I sponged everything but the card base and added a ribbon rose in the center of the flower.  (Just cannot get enough of those things!!) The butterflies have bling bodies and the sentiment is stamped and stitched onto a Word  Window punch!

I cut the flower out using the Big Shot Die Fun Flowers and grunge-d it up!  It is Crumb Cake and I just love the way it looks against the word background!

Hope she likes it! :)

Is the sun shining on you?!  If so be sure to step outside for a while and enjoy it! :)

I will be back soonest with more to share!  Have a wonderful day!
