Get well love and some chickens!

Hello there!  How are you today?  I am doing well, but have a couple of dear sweet friends that are under the weather.  They are on my mind so I made them some  paper hugs to send through the mail.  Always helps to brighten a day when you open your mailbox to find that someone is thinking about you!  Here are the cards that I made:

Most of the stamps that I used are retired so I won't go into details, but if you have any questions feel free to shoot me an email! :)

I think I may go back and add some hearts to the base of this card!  It just needs a little something more! What do you think?

While I was outside taking these pictures some of our sweet chickens came by to see me!!  They are such funny people!  I love to watch them come running when they think there are food treats in their immediate future!  I am really enjoying having them!

She just flew on up to the deck to see what I was doing and see if it involved a snack!  They have a house. but we let them free range during the day to forage for bugs.  They are very happy!  I worried about the dogs initially, but they all just hang out together!  Dogs, cats and chicks!  They even share the treats we throw out for them!  It is quite amusing actually! LOL

And another!

Three little ladies all hanging out together!

This one is really persistent and a bit nosy!  She insisted on having her own Kodak moment!  They are really fun! :)

Ok, well I am off to hang more sheet rock!  Never a dull or construction free minute around here!  Have a wonderful day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

  1. Oh my goodness....I have that stamp set! It is older than dirt!!!

I really like how you used the sentiment and circle punched it. Will have to remember that one!

That last picture of the chicken is a hoot!

  2. Your cards look wonderful and so sweet! I'm thinking the hearts would look very nice, but it looks good without too!
