More mini album fun!

Hello!  Are you having a nice Saturday?  Sure hope so! I spent part of my morning playing with a couple of mini albums that we made in my class on Thursday night.  This is such an happy, fun project.  The original design is by Laura Denison and let me tell you what...she is a paper genius!!  We took her design and made our own versions and everyone embellished  theirs differently.  I just love to see all of the creativity in motion! Here are the couple I have made so far:

It measures 4 1/2" x 7".  It holds six pocket pages which in turn each hold a large tag. There is tons of room for photos, journaling and embellishments.

I added a Top Note die to the cover and made my roses from the Blossom punch.  I was going for a really feminine look and I think this got it! That flutterby just makes it I think! :)

The ribbon runs through the entire album.  It is what binds it all together.

It looks a little more book like in this photo.  We made the whole book...covers, pages, everything!

Inside view.  Saving all of the embellishing for after I add my photos.

Here the tags are pulled out.

This is what the inside looks like. The pages are evenly spaced with pony beads.

Here is a second one that I made.  I wanted this one to be a bit more masculine.

Same dimensions, completely different look.

Pocket pages with their tags tucked snuggly inside.

The insides.

Here they are together. I will definitely be making more of these little cuties!  They are so much fun to put together and would make such nice gifts!

Ok, I better get back to my To Do list while the sun is still shinning!  I hope that you have a wonderful day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!
