Snowing again!

Hello!  Is it snowing on your head too?!  It is snowing here and although I am so ready for Spring I can barely stand it, I must admit that it is very beautiful gently falling from the sky!  Something about it makes you feel calm and serene!  I am enjoying it, but just a little!!  ;)  LOL  The weather outside was totally the inspiration for my card today!  I made another one of those fun card in a box cards!  I would love to know who came up with this originally.  Everyone I have found online links to another one that says they found it from someone who found it from someone who...!  You get the idea!  Here is my snow inspired card in a box card:

I used Night of Navy, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White and Silver Glimmer paper for this card!  All of my snowflakes are stamped in Night of Navy and then mounted against Silver Glimmer snowflakes.  I used the Festive Flurries Framelits to cut out all of them.

Here is a side view.  Kind of a funny angle, but I wanted you to see the insides!

I tried to put the sentiment inside the box with the snowflakes, but I just couldn't stand to cover any of them up, so on the top it went!!  I will just have to make my envelope bigger when I make it now! :)

Here is a close up of one of the snowflakes!  These shimmer and really sparkle when the light catches them!  I also topped each of the snowflakes with a rhinestone for a little extra pop!

My favorite thing about these cards is that they fold flat for mailing!  I just think that is the neatest thing!   Have you made one of these yet?!  You should really try it!  The possibilities are endless!!

I hope you have a wonderful day whether it is snowing on your head or not!  I will be back soonest with more to share!
