Bee happy!!

Hello there!  Man o man...what an absolutely beautiful day it is!!  We had some seriously heavy rain last night, but today has been just gorgeous!  I was sitting outside earlier talking on the phone and a pesky bee kept buzzing over to say hello!  I watched him for a while and then inspiration struck!  I finished my phone call and came inside to create a bee of my own!  What do you think?!

He is made from the Scallop Tag Topper punch, a Circle framelit, the 3/4" circle punch and the leaves from the Two Step Bird punch!!   I cut strips of black paper for his stripes and drew in his little mouth.   I cut a sliver of the black for his tail and made his rosy little cheeks with a pencil eraser!

He is mounted against the Honeycomb hive Framelit.  I stamped the sentiment from the Rotary Alphabet stamp  (love that thing!!) and then cut it out using the Word Bubbles Framelits.

Here is a close up shot of my little bee!  He makes me grin! :) Bee happy!!!
