Quilling...who knew?!

Hello there!  So, yesterday I told you I would share the new craft we learned at my demo meeting with you guys!  It was Quilling!!  Have you ever quilled?!  I must admit that I didn't think I was going to care for it, but I LOVED IT!!!  My very sweet friend Jo taught us how to do all of the basic shapes required to quill a project and I think I may be hooked!!  We made a chart with all of the basic shapes and then I woke up bright and early the next moring and made my first little quilled project!  Want to see?!

I made this little card and it took me forever! LOL  It is kind of Zen though to make all these little coils and then oh so cool to see it make a picture!!

It really is a lot of fun!  I plan to take on a bigger project soon!  I added some grass cut with our fun Fringe scissors and some clouds (that are actually from the Word Bubbles set!).  Adhered on a little sentiment and called it done!

This was the first flower that I made!

This was my second attempt.  I was covered in glue by the time I finished! LOL

Here is my butterfly!  I was tickled with the way he came out! Fun stuff!

Ok, I hate to type and run, but I have a class tonight and house to clean so I am going to scoot!  Hope that you have a wonderful day!
