Masculine card!

Hello!  How is Tuesday treating ya?!  :)  It is feeling a wee bit like a Monday to me!  Must be the gray cloudy skies!   Oh well onto business!  So, once a month I get together with my wonderful Stampin Up! demo group.  This is such a fun, amazing group of ladies!  Each one has so much to offer the group!  I just love getting together with them.  Each month we do a swap of some sort. This month is was for masculine cards with some sort of altered background.  Here is my swap card:

I altered my background by dry embossing, heat embossing and sponging it.  I used pewter embossing powder for the tree.

I faux stitched the border and the stamped image is from the Sale-A-Bration set Vintage Verses.  I struggle with masculine cards.  Cards just never feel finished to me without some sort of sparkle! LOL  Most guys don't really care for the sparkle though!   So, here sits my card.....sparkle free! :)

Details:
Stamps: Vintage Verses
Paper: Basic Black, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla
Ink: Early Espresso
Punches and Dies: 1 3/8" Circle and 1 3/4" Circle punch
Extras: Woodgrain EF, Pewter EP, Versamark, Paper Piercer Pack and White Gel Pen

Hope that the sun is shining on you and that your Tuesday feels more like a Tuesday and less of a Monday! :)  Have a good!  I will be back soonest with more to share!
