Happy Birthday box!

Well hello there! How are you today?  Did you know it was Wednesday?!  All day long too!  I have thought since I woke up this morning that it was Tuesday!  Sheesh!! LOL  I have been busy, busy all day long and this is the first chance I have had to stop by and share my project with you, but here I am! :) I made another one sheet box!  I just love these!  They are so simple to put together and will hold all kinds of goodies!  I jazzed up  the sides a bit today though with the awesome Scallop Tag Topper punch.  Have I mentioned that I {HEART} that thing?!  Take a look at my box with the fancy sides:

I scored all the sides of my box and stamped it with the Chevron background stamp.  Then before I assembled it I tucked the side flaps into the Scallop Tag Topper punch and punched them pretty! :)  Then I used the Scallop Edge border punch to punch the front and back.

Here is what the sides look like!  You could add a ribbon handle if you wanted, but I decided to leave it handle free!

I used some of my leftovers from the Paper Pumpkin kit and the stamps from it for my sentiment.  The tiny tag is stamped with Teeny Tiny Wishes.  I tied it on with Baker's Twine and added some candy dots (both leftover form this month's Paper Pumpkin kit.)  I added the Decorative Label punch for some extra interest and popped the whole thing up with dimensionals!

This could be filled with all kinds of little goodies!   Super quick and fun box!  You can find the tutorial here in this post if you would like to make one!  They are easy peasy!

Ok, I still have some To Do's to get to today, so I am outta here!  Hope that you have a wonderful day (even if it is Wednesday!)!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

  2. The color of card stock is great on this one! I really like the Chevron stamping and how the little bits of the DP show through so not totally solid stamping. Fun project!
