By your side...

Hello there!  How are you today?  Hope you are well and that things in your life are good.  I was thinking this morning on my walk about how we all go through periods of up and downs in life and how it sometimes is because of those down times that you learn to really value and appreciate the good things life has to offer.  I have definitely had my share of down times lately, but I am also very fortunate to have so very much good in my life as well.  I truly value and appreciate every little bit of it.  My card today is a reflection of how I am feeling and I'd love to share it with you!

I used the beautiful stamp set High Tide to make this.  It is a 2-Step stamp set (which are just too much fun to play with!).  I stamped the lighthouse in Smoky Slate first and then stamped over it with the more detailed stamp in Dapper Denim.  I fussy cut it and used Dimensionals to pop it up over the ocean.  I stamped the ocean first in Dapper Denim and then went back and stamped it again in Smoky Slate to give the water the illusion of movement.

I masked the clouds to stamp the sun, so that it would appear to be peeking out from behind the clouds. I double mounted the sentiment on Night of Navy and then Silver Glimmer paper.  I love, love, love all things ocean so this card kinda gets me in the feels!
