Happy December to you and you and you!! I am soooo excited to be starting a new project today! It is called December Daily!! Have you heard of it? You snap a picture or two of something that happens throughout your day every day leading up to Christmas!! Then you add it to your book or album or notebook or whatever you choose to collect your memories in and add some notes or journaling! It is a fun way to document your month! There are as many ways to do this as the day is long! You pick your own book and decorate it as you'd like and add whatever makes your heart happy! Here is the book I have chosen and the cover I decorated to launch the whole project:
I am going to be using a Traveler's Notebook that I purchased from Amazon to do my December Daily! It is a great size to squeeze everything in, but not so overwhelming that I will be tempted to stop the process after a week! (anyone else?!) LOL I used The Christmas Around the World designer series paper pack to cover my notebook. I added my sentiment using the Festive Phrases stamp set and matted it on Garden Green and then Gold foil; which I cut out using the Layering Squares Framelits. I added a strip of gold across the bottom after I ran it through the Softly Falling Embossing Folder. Then a few gold acccent dots punched from Gold Glimmer paper and I was done!
The back! Simple, plaid and to the point!
This is the notebook I started out with. It is plain and just waiting to be dressed up and filled with oodles of memories! Did I mention I am SOOOOOO excited!!!
This is what it looks like on the inside! I have already counted pages and if I keep days 2-30 to a full 2 page spread (as shown here!) and day 1 and 31 to just the front and back page I should be able to fit all of the days in! I do, however, plan to add extra pages and pockets and extra goodies all over the place in this little guy!!
A pile of supplies I plan to use throughout the month!! Stamps and DSP and punches and ink and die cuts and...oh my!! So many fun possibilities!!
Using the Large Numbers Big Shot dies and Garden Green and Real Red card stock I cut out all of the numbers so I can label each day!

Also, I wanted to share a little funny! This is one of my cats! She couldn't have possibly been any more relaxed when I took her picture this morning!! I am going to print this out and stick it in my December Daily to remind me that no matter how crazy and hectic the month becomes that I need to remember to just chill! Relax and enjoy the moments!!
