December Daily and a smitten mitten or two!

Hello there!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  We had a very full and busy weekend!  We had a houseful of kids and we started our holiday-ing!  We got our Christmas decorations up and our tree all decorated! Have I mentioned that I love Christmas?!!

I made another Christmas card that I thought I'd stop by and share and also got a little bit done in my December Daily!  I am really excited about this project!!  I absolutely love the idea of getting to the end of the holiday season and having everything documented!!  Ok, I will start with the card and then move on to the December Daily:

I used a base from the October Paper Pumpkin kit for my card today!  I added a piece of Pear Pizzazz after running it through the Softly Falling embossing folder.  I cut the mittens using the Many Mittens Framelits and then also running those through the Cable knit embossing folder.

The bows are from the Holly Happiness stamp set and the sentiment and banners are both from the  Paper Pumpkin kit as well. I added a few little gold accent dots punched from a standard hole punch.  I think it is a very merry little card!

Here is a list of all of the goodies I used to create this card.  You can click on any of them for a direct hop to my online store!  Happy shopping!

On to my December Daily project!!  Wooohooooo!

Here is the cover of my album.  I am using a standard size traveler's notebook for this project!

I adhered a Christmas tag that I made a while back to the inside cover to get things off to a Christmas-y start!  Then I added a few smaller little flip pages to add some interest right from the beginning.  I love the look of different sized pages!  It keeps things interesting visually!  Lots of green, red and gold!

Here is a close up of the tag!  I just love that little deer!!

This is the first smaller flip page!  I used the Detailed Santa Framelits and cut it out in gold using my Big Shot and adhered it to a piece of Whisper White and then a larger Pear Pizzazz piece.

When you flip it over this is what you see!  I love this picture of our kitty!  She was just laying in the sun being about as relaxed as anyone could ever possibly be!  It made me actually laugh out loud when I saw her like this, so I thought it would be a fun reminder to chill out when things felt hectic this holiday season! So, into the book she went! :)

This is the next page!  It is really the title page and explains what in the heck this book is going to be!  I used the Alphabet Labler set to stamp out my title and date.

This next picture is of my Hubby, our youngest son and our dog!  The kiddo was headed out for the night and plopped down into his Dad's lap to say good bye!  This kid is a riot and always keeps me smiling!

This is the first actual dated/numbered page of the book!  Day 1.  Our beautiful daughter stopped by to visit (and do laundry!).  She was sweet enough to help lug down all of the Christmas boxes!  She is such a great  kid!  I stamped holly berries on the top of the page and Christmas trees along the bottom.  I added the giant number one and called it done!  The book is already complaining about staying closed and I just got started! LOL  Fortunately, I do love a chunky album!

I will continue to share my progress with you!  I am really enjoying the process so far!

I hope that you have a great day!  I am off to do some Christmas-y type things!  I will be back soonest with more to share!
