*Bouncing up and down!!*

Hellooooo!  I am soooo excited!!!  I have started the countdown to the next Stampin' Up! function and it is less than a week away!!  Wooo hooooo!   This Saturday is On Stage! and I will be attending one of the Local events with some of my wonderful stamping buddies!!  Stampin' Up! functions are always so much fun!!   You get to spend time with people that love to stamp and there are fun presentations and stamp projects and so many goodies!!  You get to swap cards and projects and ideas with people!!  You get to visit with old friends and make lots of new ones!!  Plus you get to see the new catalog!!!!!  So many fun things going on!!  This is one of my favorite things about being a Demonstrator!!  I am sooooo excited!!!

I sat down this morning to start thinking about my swaps (I am running a bit behind, but I work pretty well under pressure!) and pulled out one of my favorite stamp sets!  I don't use this one as often as I should because it tends to be a little time consuming.  The end result is always worth it though!  Here is my card today:

My card base is Old Olive and my layers are Crumb Cake and Whisper White.  The stamp set I referenced up there ^ is called Jar of Love and it is a beautiful set!!  It has several different jar sizes and lots of fun things you can store in your jars!  It has several great sentiments and the possibilities for this set are endless!!  I combined it with the Flower Shop stamp set and coordinating punch and used the EveryDay Jars Framelits set to cut out several of my pieces here.

I did all of my stamping and then punching and cutting.  Then I stamped the background piece of Whisper White with a small circle stamp from the set.  I stamped it full strength in some places and stamped off in others.  I just wanted a subtle way to fill in some of the white space in the background.    Once I stamped the background I started layering my jar of flowers.  I popped some of them up using dimensionals and just played around with the arrangement until I got the look I wanted!  I adhered everything in place  and then added my greeting.  I used 2 circle punches and then added a few more stamped and cut images from the Jars of Love set.

Here is a close up of the flower arrangement!  This was a really fun card to make!!  If you would like to purchase any of these items you can find them all here (just click any picture!):

So, let me ask you...how many swaps do you think I should take to On Stage?!  When I first starting going to these events it wasn't uncommon for me to take numbers in the hundreds!!  It is so much fun to swap!!  You get so many great ideas and you get to meet so many nice people!!!

Ok, I am off to do some swap planning!  I will keep you posted...I promise!!!  Have a  super day!!
