A little hello!

Hello there!!  Phew!  What a morning!!  It has definitely been one of those "One of those kind of days!" days around here!  Seems like every time I turn around this morning it is something else!  Oh well!  What are you going to do?!  Pour another cup of coffee, swoosh it all away and go on with  your day, right?!

In addition to the chaos that has been my morning I spent an hour working on a card that for the life of me I just could not manage to pull together to a place that I was happy with it!   I stamped, I glued, I glittered, I embossed!!  I added more to it and then I took some stuff off of it!  I sponged, I switched colors, I switched sentiments...LOL  It was just one of those things, I suppose! Ever create a card like that?!  Ever look at one of your cards and wonder if it was made by a drunk monkey?!!  That is kind of how I felt today!  Guess what?!  I am going to share it anyhow!  Today my life lesson is that it is better to create like a drunk monkey than not to have created at all....or something like that! LOL (Happily laughing at myself today, because it is better than the alternative!) The card in question:

My card base is Blushing Bride and the layers are Basic Black and Crumb Cake.  I embossed the Crumb Cake layer with the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Embossing Folder and added a punched and stamped daisy from the Delightful Daisy stamp set.  The sentiment is from the Badges and Banners stamp set.  This is one of those sets that I am afraid hasn't received enough love!  Lots of fun possibilities, but it tends to get over looked, I believe!  It has a fun matching banner and a separate badge punch that coordinate!

I added a doily scrap on the top and some sparkly silver glimmer dots that I punched using a standard hole punch.  I tied a linen thread bow on the bottom and used a glue dot to hold it in place! That tiny little adorable butterfly is from the Build A Bike Framelits set!  He is the perfect little addition and a final pop of color! There you have it!  I called it done at that point! LOL

Here are all of the goodies that I used to create my little card:

I hope that you have a great day!  I will be back soonest with lots more to share!
