Loving on my last chance items!!

Hello there!  Had a few minutes of quiet time today, so I thought I would share a little project with you!  I have spent the last couple of days organizing my stamp toys and products.  Every year about this time I sort through all of my stuff and separate the current and soon to be retired items. Keeping things organized like this allows me to spend more time creating and less time always checking to see if something has retired!  I must say I am feeling a little bit sad to see some of my very favorite things hitting the road!  I still have a solid month to create with them though, so expect to see lots of projects that are on the Last Chance list over the course of the next month!!  Remember things are now on a "As supplies last" basis!  If you see something you really love be sure to act fast!!

Ok, on to my project today!  I absolutely love shadow boxes and what could be better than a shadow box card?  This cute little guy folds up and fits into a regular A2 card envelope or can be displayed upright on a table top!  Take a look:

I started by cutting 2 pieces of card stock 5 1/4" x 5 1/2".  My card base is Dapper Denim and my top layer is Pink Pirouette (both colors are retiring!)  I scored at 1/2" and 1" on the shorter side (both sides) and folded each side so that they would fit together. (See below!)

I used the Feathery Friends stamp set (retiring!!) for all of the stamped images and the sentiment.  I stamped the leaves and flowers and fussy cut them all out.  I used the Lots of Labels framelits (retiring and soooooo sad to see these going!!) to cut out a window in the front piece and as a frame for my sentiment inside the box.

I stamped the inside piece first and glued it in place.  Then I assembled my box.  Once it was together I added all of the embellishments.

I added some gold glimmer dots that I punched out using a standard hole punch and popped up a third flower using a dimensional on the inside.  These little guys go together very quickly and are so much fun to make!

Here is a list of everything that I used to create my cradc today:
