ABC Challenge time!

Good morning!  So that beautiful day we had yesterday is long gone and the skies are all gray and angry looking this morning.  Weather forecast says rain today.....lots and lots of rain!  I am hoping the dreary day will offer inspiration towards my plan of organizing my stamp room this afternoon!  Since we are building and our house is in utter chaos right now it has been challenging to create.  Mostly because all of the contents of our bedroom have been relocated into my stamp room!  I literally have to crawl over things to get to my punches and paper.  I have to move dressers and boxes to reach my stamps!!!  Once I take something out it is as big of a chore to put it back, so you can probably imagine the state of nuttiness of my room!  We are getting closer to having the house dried in, but until then...one day at a time!  One day at a time!! I can do anything one day at a time!! :)  Today is Monday and that means a different kind of a challenge!  Kid card!! Today's ABC challenge is to make a card with a kiddo in mind!   Here is mine:

I didn't even think about the design for a minute!  I just went straight to this one!!  You see.......our very first grand pumpkin is due in ONE WEEK!!!!! We are expecting a little girl!  We have put a chart on the fridge and everyone in the house has made a guess as to when she will make her arrival. (My son and the sweet mommy to be live here with us!) My guess is for the 11th! (Friday!) Of course, we all know she will come when she is ready, but Thursday just seems like a great day to come into this  world! :)  Anyhow, back to the challenge card:

This one just screams kid card!  That cute giraffe is from the Zoo Babies stamp set.  I made a tag using the Envelope punch Board and added some of that cute ruffled ribbon! I also added  some shadow under the giraffe with Smoky Slate and an Aqua Painter.
