Calendar page!

    Hello there!  Today I have a different kind of project to share with you!  As I have mentioned before I meet once monthly with a fabulous group of fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators. We always have a swap of some sort and about this time of the year we also each sign up to create a calendar page.  Once they are all created the finished project is a calender for the upcoming year!  It is really cool to flip through the calendar each month to see another beautiful page made by someone in our group.  We have done this for several years now and it seems like each year it gets better and better!  I cannot wait to see this one all assembled!  My month this time was September and this is what I made:

I created a grid by making Score lines and then stamped a leaf from Wonderfall all over the page.  I sponged the grid lines to make them stand out some.  I added a Lattice cut out and crumpled leaf (also grunged up with ink!) and a punch art pumpkin!  I think I have used some sort of punch art on my page every year so far!  Final touch was a rhinestone on the Lattice piece!  (suggested by my sweet son who always tries very hard to contribute when I ask him what he thinks about my latest project!)  ((He is a keeper!!))

September is my bday month and I love Fall, so even though we drew months randomly I was really happy to have gotten September! :)

 I am so excited to announce that we bit the bullet and tore a hole in our existing house last night opening it up to the new addition!!  We are still miles away from being done, but little by little progress is a' happening!!  

On another note, no baby yet!!  We are all waiting patiently (or not so patiently!! LOL)  for the little Miss to make her appearance!
