Bathroom Art!

Hello! Happy Tuesday to you!  I have a different kind of a project to share with you today!  We are re-doing our bathroom and I needed some sort of art to hang on the wall.  I have looked and looked and haven't seen anything that I really liked so I decided that I would make something! I found some old pictures at a yard sale a while ago for a whopping .50 a piece, so I started with those. I removed the old photos and cleaned up the frames and glass. I spray painted them white and then grabbed some card stock, punches and Big Shot Dies.  This is what I came up with:

I cut out 4 of the Lattice shapes using the Big Shot and adhered them in place.  Then I cut out two of the Butterflies from the Beautiful Wings Big Shot Die and ran them through the Pretty Print EF.  I  colored some Rhinestones to make the bodies of the butterflies and adhered everything in place.  I added a few extra Rhinestones and then added the gray strips along the edges of the frame using the same paper that I used for the Lattice shapes.

You can see the reflection of the trees in this picture!

This is the second of the two.  I used flower punches for this one instead of butterflies.

More trees reflected in the glass.

Here they are hanging in the bathroom!  Try and try as I might I just could not get a decent picture of them hanging!  The gray matches the paint that we used and the green matches the other decorations I have started adding to the room!  This was such a fun project and only cost me a few dollars to throw together!   My favorite kind of project!  Upcycling is so much fun to do!

Hope you are having a good day!  I have tons left to do today so I better scoot!  I will be back soonest though with more to share!
