Fall sampler Fun!

Hello and happy Friday to you!  I got it into my head this morning that I wanted to make a sampler and what better theme than Fall since tis' the season! I thought it might be a time consuming project, so I figured I would get it started and work on it as I could, but once I got started I just kept plugging away until it was all finished!  Take a look:

I absolutely love projects like this because you can create several tiny works of art!  I started with a piece of Crumb Cake and cut it down to 8" x 10".  Then I started adding all of my colored squares in like puzzle pieces.  After I got everything where I wanted it, I matted smaller pieces against them and then started decorating!!

I gathered up lots of my Fall images and sentiments and got busy!

I stamped this piece, cut it out and adhered it on top of the leaves.  I covered the whole thing with Wink of Stella for some added shimmer.

This little guy uses the small leaf from the classic Lovely as a Tree stamp set.

These are the pieces in the center row.  I used the same color scheme on every piece for a nice united look.

Left hand side.  Lots of fun details.  One of my very favorite things about this project is that it allowed me to use up lots of scraps from my scrap pile!!  Samplers are an excellent project for scraps!!

Here are the goodies I used to make my project today:

If you haven't made a sampler yet, I would highly recommend trying one!  They are so much fun and look so pretty on display!

Time for me to go, but I hope that you have a great day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!
