Blended Seasons and watercolor fun!

Hello, hello!  I have a fun new stamp set to share with you today!  It is a special set because it is only going to be available for purchase in the month of August and even then will only be available while supplies last!  You aren't going to want to miss this one though!!  It is called Blended Seasons and has all sorts of fun images!!  There is also a coordinating Framelits set and a brand spanking new set of watercolor pencils!!  Wooooooo!!!  As a demo I was able to pre-order it to let the playing begin!  So, I sat down this morning and played with one of the images and the new pencils. (Be still my happy heart!!) Here is the card that I put together:

I love, love, love this beautiful floral image!!  I watercolored it and then fussy cut it.  I adhered it to a Crumb Cake layer that I ran through the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Embossing Folder.  My base layer is also Crumb Cake and my other layers are Blushing Bride and Very Vanilla.

My sentiment is from The Eastern Beauty stamp set. I stamped it onto a circle from the Layering Circle Framelits and matted that against a scalloped circle from the same set.  My ink color is Call Me Clover.

I used a handful of the watercolors and an aqua painter to get the blended water colored look.  It leaves the flowers looking nice and soft.

Here is a close up of the flowers.  You can almost smell them from there!

This set, the framelits and the watercolor pencils will all be available August 1st!  I promise to remind you as it gets closer!  I just wanted to share a teensy sneaky peek with you now!  In the meantime though, here are the goodies I used to create my little card today!

Have a wonderful day!  Be sure to stop back by soonest! I have lots more to share!
