Is it a tag or a mini album or both?!!

Hello there!!  Did you have a good weekend?!  I sure hope so!  I had the pleasure of meeting with my long time stamping group yesterday for some some super duper great visiting, some especially yummy food, lots of business chitter chat, fun stamping projects and all around good time!  I have said it before and I will say it again I am so thankful to Stampin' Up for bringing me these wonderful ladies!!  I have made life long friends because of this fun hobby and I really couldn't be more grateful!  Every time we gather for a meeting we do a swap.  There is a preplanned theme to announce the type of swap and then we all show up with enough to do tradesies! Our swap yesterday was "New, new, new!" to celebrate the release of the new cattie!  The thought process being that you use mostly new product for your project.  Want to peek see the project that I made?

It is an album tag combo!  It is a tag that holds an album!  It is kind of a fat, chunky tag, but that just means there is more of it to love!!  I saw this project going in a very different direction in my head, but was pleased with the way it ultimately turned out!  I started out making card, but decided I wanted to go in a different direction, so the tag album became a thing! LOL

The tag measures 5 1/4" x 5 3/4" and the mini album measures 3 1/2" x 4 1/4".  The album has 6 pages for holding pictures, quotes, notes, recipes, lists, poems, jokes....I used Sea Foam Green as my base color.  I really like it for a nice gentle, calm color, but think for more of a WOW impact next time I will go with something a bit more pizzazz filled! I added Very Vanilla panels that I ran through the Tufted Dynamic Embossing Folder, a bright beautiful Pineapple Punch butterfly from the Springtime Impressions Thinlits set and a bow that I made using the envelope Punch Board!  (Loooove that thing!!)  The bow is made from Garden Impressions DSP.  (Possibly one of my all time favorite DSP packs of all time!!)  I added a cute Tinted Faceted Button to top off the bow!

Here is a close up picture of the 3D parts of the project!

Inside pages!  Lots of room to add goodies!

More inside pages!

And more inside pages!

The back cover.

Here they are all together!  This was a fun project to make!  I love playing with new product!!

Here is a click-able list of all of the products I used to make my project today! If you find that you are in need of any of these feel free to click away and shop until you feel happy! LOL

There are a lot of exciting things going on at Stampin' Up right now!  It is a great time to sign up to be a demo!  They are giving away a whole color family worth of ink pads for free when you sign up this month!  Also, there is a buy 3, get 1 free paper sale happening as we speak!!  More about those things tomorrow!  If you find though that you cannot wait...check it out--->here!

Have a wonderful day!  I will be back soonest with lots more to share!
