Well hello there! How is your weekend going? We have had a very full one, but also a very nice one! :) I have a quick and simple project to share with you today! It is a book mark that I made trying to use up some of the scraps on my craft table! I had piles of little left over pieces of things and thought it would be win win to create something using some of them up! So that is how this book mark came to be:
Everything I used was leftover from another project and just hanging around on my table.
This is kind of like trying to eat up all the left overs in the fridge the day before you grocery shop! My poor table needs cleaning off pretty badly! I
just keep stacking piles of leftovers!
just keep stacking piles of leftovers!
Since I hate to throw any paper scraps away I just save them and eventually try to turn them into something! :)
Close up of the sentiment.
Off to enjoy the rest of the weekend! Thanks for stopping by!
it was really nice visiting with you! :)
I will be back soonest with more to share!
OMGosh!!!! This is too stinkin' cute!!! I love how you stitched all three layers on the edges. The owl is adorable and the clouds came out great. Great color combos.
ReplyDeleteI love it!!! I love it when animals are unexpected colors, not the typical brown owl. If I get time, I'd like to try this challenge as well.
ReplyDeleteAnnMarie, I loved the colours of your basket and this bookmark is no different. LOVE that colour combo!!!. It goes perfect with the beautiful day we are having in BC today... Spring is coming...YAYYYY!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card. The way you made the butterflies dimensional gives them wings to fly! Love it!!!
ReplyDeleteOh sure, delete the other post so I have to come back on Tuesday and comment on it again! LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the bookmark and the pretty flowers and butterflies. I don't think I could use it thought and risk smashing them!
I love that you used scraps! I'm always looking through my box, trying to get the pile down! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bookmark AnnMarie.
