Tiled hello!

Hey there!  Thursday already!  Man oh man is this week ever flying by!!  I have another card to share with you today using a technique that is new to me!  It is a tile technique!  Turned out to be pretty cool and much quicker than the version where you cut apart and re-adhere all of the tiny tiles! That version takes forever!!  Ask me how I know! :)

I think it looks just like a tile mosaic!  I am tickled with this technique!  I used Stampin Ups! Simply scored tool and scored my card stock at every half inch.  Then I flipped it sideways and did it on the other side.  After I scored I stamped my image and then colored it.  Then I took a sponge and went over everything with Chocolate Chip which stayed on the surface, but doesn't make it down into the tiny grooves.  There you have it......tile! :)

Side view.

Up close.
I added Dazzling Details to the flowers which gave them all a nice little shimmer.  Awesome technique.....I say give it a try!

Details:
Stamps: Elements of Style and Easy Events
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke and Pretty In Pink
Paper: Crumb Cake, Always Artichoke and Pink Pirouette
Dies and Punches: 1 1/2" Circle punch
Extras: Rhinestones and Dazzling Details

Off to be productive!  Hope that you have a wonderful day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

  8. Love your floral tile and it sounds much easier than the old method!! Fantastic coloring on those flowers and I love the half circle with the sentiment peeking out!
