Solid as an Oak

Hello!  Happy Thursday!  I have a card to share with you today that uses a classic stamp set in the Stampin Up! world!  This set has been around forever and will probably never retire! LOL  It is the Lovely As A Tree set and it is simply beautiful.  It is the perfect set for a masculine card or a sympathy card or a change of seasons card or a Christmas card or a...well I guess you get the picture!  I love it!  Here is today's card using this timeless set:
My card is a masculine one today.  No bling or ribbons or buttons or even brads!  I kept it simple and let the image doing the impressing all on it's own! :)  Is that not a gorgeous tree?!

I repeated the layers for a nice uniform, neat look and pulled the colors from Mother Nature herself.

I used markers to color the tree so my leaves would be green and my trunk would be brown.  I pulled the brown marker up into the leaves to create the branches.

Details:
Stamps: Lovely as A Tree and Elementary Elegance
Ink: Chocolate Chip and Always Artichoke
Paper: Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla
Punches and Dies: None
Extras: None

I  hope that you have a great day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!
