Happy holidays and some super, duper exciting stamping news!!

Hello there!  Do you realize that Thanksgiving is a mere week away?!  Have you begun making your preparations to trim the turkey and kick off the holidays?  Planned your menu?!  Made your grocery shopping list yet?  Made your thanksgiving favors?!!  Thanksgiving is traditionally one of my very favorite holidays.  In fact, I like it so much that we celebrate it not once, not twice...but three times!!  We attend 2 dinners and then I cook a third day for our immediate family.  I found that my creative muse was feeling drawn to the Thanksgiving vibe this morning,  so when I sat down to create this is where it took me:

I used the adorable stamp set from the October Paper Pumpkin kit for my sentiment.  It is a Christmas set, but it worked perfectly for this card.  I also used the the Paper Pumpkin kit as my inspiration for this card.  It is a shaker style card.

I made my window and used the sweet pumpkin from the Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits set.  I added a small handful of sequins to get the party started and stamped the greeting and leaves in various Fall colors.  The leaves are also from the Christmas stamp set Carols of Christmas.  They worked wonderfully as Fall leaves though, so I went for it!

Interactive cards are twice as much fun as regular cards! Shake, shake, shake...!  I cut my window out using the Layering Squares Framelits and created the popped up box using the foam adhesive strips.  My background colors are Cherry Cobbler and Pumpkin Pie and the main image is Very Vanilla.

Here are all of the goodies that I used to create my card today:

Now on to that very exciting news!!!  Stampin' Up! has come out with an amazing new stamping tool called the Stamparatus and it is going to change the way you think about stamping!!!  Take a look at this and be sure to get back to me with any questions you may have.

I am off to get my menu planned and my grocery shopping list together!  I hope that you have a wonderful day! I will be back soonest with more to share!
