Hello, hello! Happy Friday! Are you a Paper Pumpkin subscriber yet? I am and I absolutely love it!! It is such a fun little surprise to get my kit each month and see what projects they offer and even better to see what projects I can come up with from the goodies Stampin' Up! has sent! I pulled out September's kit this morning to make use of some of the fun things in it and wound up making 2 cards! I think this particular kit may be one of my all time favorites! I have made so many things from it so far and have so many things left over still! Want to see what I came up with today?
Here is my first card using the kit. The large leaf stamp, the sentiment stamp, the dark brown paper and the leaf die cut are all from the kit. The gold foil circles are also from the kit! They were the scraps left over from the leaf stickers! I especially appreciate the scraps of the kit! They often provide wonderful elements to a project!
I used the Painted Autumn DSP for the background and the Cable knit Dynamic Texture Embossing folder. My card layers are Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.
My second card uses many of the same supplies. I added several punched circles to add some visual interest and the gold leaves are punched using the Leaf punch and Gold Foil sheets. The stamp is from a prior Paper Pumpkin kit as well as the flower petal shapes on the sentiment panel. The stamped leaf on the background is from the September PP kit too...did I mention what a great kit it is?!!
The darker brown is from a 3 x 3 card in the kit. I cut it in half and used half on each of these cards. These kits really go a looong way!
Here they are pictured together. All of the same supplies, but totally different looking projects!
Here are all the the goodies I used to create my cards. Clickable for your shopping fun and convenience!
