Thanks so much!

Hello there! Is it raining on you?!  I feel like we are about to float away here with all the rain! Seems like it has been raining for days and gray rainy days make it challenging to get a fancy schmancy picture of the latest projects I have been working on!  In fact,  if only you could have seen me outside this morning trying to hold the camera, the umbrella, fighting the breeze and the kitty that kept insisting she be in the picture you would have laughed out loud! Ah the things we do for our art! *giggles!* Here is the card I battled the elements to share with you:

Since yesterdays leftovers were staring up at me from my craft table (and I love them!) I used them for today's card too! I used a rainbow of pinks for this card starting with Pink Pirouette and going as dark as Cherry Cobbler.  I took out my handy dandy spritzer tool and muddied things up with some Chocolate Chip spritzes! Also, sponged generously around the edges with Soft Suede.

Popped the sentiment up using Dimensionals and split a Modern Label punch out in half and tucked it underneath to add some interest to it.

Close up of the flower.  I used Melon Mambo for the flower and outlined it with Cherry Cobbler.  You can just barely see the faint chevrons in the background absorbing some of the white space.

Details:
Stamps: Oh, Hello!
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Basic Gray and Very Vanilla
Ink: Regal Rose, Garden Green, Melon Mambo, Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip and Soft Suede
Punches and Dies: Decorative Label, Modern Label and Square EF
Extras: Pearls, Dimensionals and Spritzer Tool

Hope that the sun starts to shine on you soon! :)  Have a great day! I will be back soonest with more to share!

  1. You know I love me some of that embossing folder! I also like how the sentiment fits just perfectly into the die cut piece.
