Since yesterdays leftovers were staring up at me from my craft table (and I love them!) I used them for today's card too! I used a rainbow of pinks for this card starting with Pink Pirouette and going as dark as Cherry Cobbler. I took out my handy dandy spritzer tool and muddied things up with some Chocolate Chip spritzes! Also, sponged generously around the edges with Soft Suede.
Popped the sentiment up using Dimensionals and split a Modern Label punch out in half and tucked it underneath to add some interest to it.
Close up of the flower. I used Melon Mambo for the flower and outlined it with Cherry Cobbler. You can just barely see the faint chevrons in the background absorbing some of the white space.

You know I love me some of that embossing folder! I also like how the sentiment fits just perfectly into the die cut piece.
ReplyDeleteOh the things we do for a decent photo!! I love your sweet card and the subtle chevrons are the perfect filler for the white space!
