Fa la la la la la la la laaaaaa!

Good morning!  Did you notice the title?!  Nope, I haven't gone nutso!  I do realize Christmas was almost two weeks ago, but I have decided that this year I am going to do my very best to make 4 Christmas cards a month until next Christmas rolls around!!  I want to start December 2013 off with with 44 cards made and ready to mail!  My big, shiny impressive plan is to make one a week and post it, but we all know life can be a little unpredictable so it may work out to be 4 at 11:30 pm on the last night of each month! LOL  Either way I will post them for you to see!  Anyone interested in playing along with me?!  Card #1 take 1:

Now I must admit it was a little tough getting in the mood to make a Christmas card a week into January! Turned out to be kind of fun though!!  No pressure...I mean technically I had 11 months to get it finished, addressed and in the mail! LOL  I didn't photograph the inside, but it says Merry Christmas in matching Garden Green ink!

I ran two sheets of Whisper White through the Northern Flurry EF (one at a time!) and punched the centers out of each snowflake from one sheet.  I used pop dots to layer them on their corresponding flake.  I jazzed things up by adding Silver Dazzling Details to the centers of each flake.

Let it snow!  Let it snow!!  Let it snow!!!

Details:
Stamps: Christmas Lodge
Paper: Garden Green, Whisper White and Silver Glimmer
Ink: Garden Green
Punches and Dies: 3/4" Circle punch, 1/2" Circle punch, Scallop Border punch and Northern Flurry EF
Extras: Silver Dazzling Deatils, Pop dots (Dimensionals) and Real Red 1/4" Grosgrain ribbon (retired)

Fa la la la la la la la laaaaaaaaa!!!

So, if you want to play along with me leave me a comment to let me know!  I would love to check out your year long Christmas cards! :)

Have a wonderful day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

  7. I had to really chuckle when I read your post! I have a bff that comes over 1 day a wk every other wk to craft. We make 4 Christmas cards each plus 4 "other" cards each. That way we have several cards by Christmas plus always a stash of get well, birthday etc! I love your card and plan of CASing it! TFS!
