Celebrate your day!!

Hey there!  Ever have one of those days where you are so busy that you can barely see straight?  A day where you run around getting lots and lots done?!  Well, I had exactly the opposite kind of day today! LOL  I woke up fully intending to have one of those crazy, busy productive days, but I am not quite sure where I went wrong!  I was busy all day long, but didn't manage to  accomplish a single thing!!  Well, I did make this fun little project that I am about to share with you!  Do you ever have days like that?!  Anyhow, on to the project:

I made an explosion box!!  These  little guys are so cute!!  They sit there looking all casual like an every day box and then you lift the lid to reveal something fun on the inside!  The sides all fall flat and your focal point steals the show!

I made my box using Calypso Coral and the layers are Whisper White.  The sentiment and all of the stamped images are from the stamp set Hello Cupcake; which I got for freeeeee!  Ask me how!  Sale-A-Bration!! For every $50.00 that you spend you get to choose a free item and I chose this cutie!

This is what it looks like once you lift the lid.  I stamped the insides with oodles of sprinkles.

I stamped and pieced together 4 cupcakes.   I made a small box and glued it into place in the center of my explosion box and added a cupcake to each side to help hold in all the goodies.

This is what each of the finished cupcakes looks like. I fussy cut all of the pieces and added Dazzling Diamonds to the frosting for a little bit of shimmer.

I used my envelope punch board to make my bow!

I stamped the sentiment and cut it out using the Layering Circles Framelits.  I also embossed each of my Whisper White centers with the Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder.

Here are all of the goodies that I used to create my project today:

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I look forward to visiting with you again soonest!
