So happy...!

Hi there!!  Happy Thursday to you!!  I am soooo excited!!  Today is the day that the new  Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration catalog go live!!  Wooo hoooo!!  There are so many fun new goodies in the catalog and so many fun free goodies in the Sale-A-Bration catalog!  For every $50.00 that you spend you get to choose a free item from the Sale-A-Bration catalog!!! Who doesn't love free?!!

I wanted to share a card I made today with you using some of the new product in the Occasions cattie.  Take a look:

My card base is Granny Apple Green and my layers are Very Vanilla and Soft Suede.  That awesome giant stamp is from a new stamp set called Amazing Life.  It is full of great images and sentiments.

I created a crosshatch pattern on my background by scoring it at every 1/2" and then flipping it and doing the same on the side in the opposite direction.  I used the Simply Scored Scoring tool for that.  I added a Very Vanilla banner that I hand cut to break up the dark color some.

I made an adorable little flower using the Bitty Blossom punch pack (also from the new catalog!).  Once I punched all of the pieces I pieced them together and glued them in place.

Here is the card with the 2 punches that I used to make the flower.  I can tell right now that those punches are going to get a lot of use!
