Well, hey there! Is it raining on you today? Rain has been falling out of the sky here all day long and it has been doomy and gloomy since I woke up! I decided that if the sun wasn't going to play nice that I would have to make my own sunshine! What that means to me is that I would need to make a happy project! I knew exactly what I wanted to do too! What's happier than butterflies?!! Just take a look at my butterfly card:
My card base is Pink Petal and my layers are Granny Apple Green and Very Vanilla. The sentiment is from the brand new Butterfly Gala set and I cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits and matted it against a Layering Oval Framelit. There are lots of layers on the card, but I kept the same color combo simply by repeating them.
I embossed the background piece with the fun new Dots to Dots embossing folder. Now what about that gorgeous butterfly you may be asking?!! Well, let me just tell you!! LOL I punched it from the new Botanical Butterfly DSP that I got for FREE!!!! I earned it by placing a $50.00 order!! It was one of my choices of free items in the Sale-A-Bration catalog. The entire 12 x 12 pack of paper is stunning!!
Here are a couple of others that I punched out and I wanted to include the backside of the paper to show you that too! The strips you see here are what is printed on the backside of this butterfly sheet.
This is what the sheet looks like and the punch I used. It fits the images perfectly! The punch also has a smaller butterfly that you can punch out too! Be still my happy heart!!!
