Christmas card Sunday!

Hello, hello!  Somehow the end of September has snuck up on us and the holidays will be here before we know it!  Have you started your Christmas cards yet?  I know it feels early, but I decided a while back that I was going to start making my cards early!  I have been making one or two a week all year long and have managed to build up a nice little stack ready for the sending!  Sing it with me...fa la la la la la la laaaaaa!!!   Here is the card I made this week:

My card base is Sea Foam green and my layers are Real Red and Very Vanilla.  I added a strip of DSP from the 6 x 6 Regals pack and ran my Very Vanilla through the Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder.  Then I matted it against a piece of Real Red cardstock for a nice pop of color.

Those bright, festive stars are from the Takeout Treats stamp set and I cut them out using the coordinating Takeout Thinlits.  Before I adhered them in place I covered them with Wink of Stella for a beautiful shimmer.  I cut out the sentiment using the Stitched Shapes Framelits and layered it on top of a SeaFoam Green Starburst punch.

I just love this sweet deer!!  Just look at the detail on him!  This was from one stamp in Soft Suede!  The stamp is designed to give you that two toned effect with one stamping pass!  Neat, right?!!!
