Hey there! I am back today to share the second half of my mini album project with you. If you missed yesterday's post telling all about the making of the album, you can find that here. It is always a bit of a struggle for me to dress up a mini album before I have added pictures, because it means keeping the pages very simple. Although I do appreciate simple, I tend to lean (heavily!) towards decorate, embellish, repeat! Here is the mini album all dressed up and ready for pictures:
This is the album all dressed up and waiting to be filled with pictures! (Hurry Christmas, hurry!)
I added little fun tid bits to all of the pages and dressed up 4 tags front and back.
Here is the first page spread. I used Real Red, Whisper White and Granny Apple Green as the main color combo. I ran the Whisper White pieces through the Big Shot using the Tufted Dynamic Embossing Folder for that lovely quilted look. I added some strips of paper from the Under the Mistletoe DSP and made the little cluster in the corner using all scraps!
The candy cane and bow are from the Candy Cane Season stamp set and I used the coordinating punch to punch them out! I fussy cut the little banner from a scrap and popped the whole thing up on dimensionals.
Next spread uses more scraps and the cute little bows from the Tags and Tidings stamp set. I added a few glitter accent dots using Gold Glimmer paper and a standard hole punch.
Next spread uses more scraps from the Under the Mistletoe DSP pack and more of the cute stamps from the Tags and Tidings set (there are a bunch of them!).
This spread uses the same goodies.
Here is a little banner cluster I made using some left over scraps! Beauty of a mini album is that you can use up lots of your leftovers!
I stamped the fun string of lights from the Merry and Bright stamp set and then repeat stamped the sentiment across the bottom edge. This is a fun spread! I really like those little twinkly lights!
I used these Stampin' Blends to color them in. They are Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Smoky Slate. I added a little shadow under each one with the Smoky slate to make them pop off the page a little!
Last spread uses the Tufted Embossing folder again and some more strips of DSP.
There are the four tags that pull out. They can be used for pictures, or journaling or to jot down a holiday recipe, or tuck in a fun memento. I decorated both sides for double the fun per tag! Woooo!
Here they are together. I added a circle tag punch at the end of each one and strung through some festive looking ribbon. I love the look of a nice full chunky book with lots of bits hanging out over the edges and poking out from the top and bottom. It just adds so much visual interest!
Last peek of the insides minus the tags. I am excited to get this little book filled up with lots of wonderful Christmas memories.
Here are the goodies that I used to create this mini album:

I really enjoyed making this little guy! I think you should make one too! I would love to see it! Send me a picture or leave me a comment letting me know how it turned out!
Have a great day! I will be back soonest with lots more to share!
