Hello there!! Guess what, guess what?!! The new Holiday Catalog goes live today!!!! What does that mean to you?! Lots of new stamps and goodies to choose from for all of your upcoming holiday needs!!! I just love new catalog time!! I am actually giddy!! I spent a little bit of time playing with some of the new products today! I must admit that with it being 89 degrees outside though, that I wasn't quite feeling the holidays, so I improvised!! Here is what I came up with:
My card base is Berry Burst and my layers are Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake. I ran both of those pieces through the new Swirls and Curls Textured Embossing Folder leaving the bottom edge hanging out so I could stamp on a nice flat surface! Aren't those swirls just soooo pretty?!! The sentiment and the heart stamps are from the stamp set called Takeout Treats. There is a really fun coordinating Thinlits set that goes with this set! I cannot wait to show you all the really neat things they do! Today I used them to cut out these hearts.
I stamped 2 hearts and cut the Berry Burst one in half. I split it apart and adhered it to the back of the Powder Pink heart creating a framed look. I added a bow from the Candy Cane Seasons stamp set; which I punched out using the Candy Cane Builder punch. I popped the whole thing up on a Dimensional and then I added a few Silver Glimmer accent dots and called her done!
