Friend like you!

Hey there!  Week is just flying by! Can you believe it is Thursday already and goodness it is almost October!!  I honestly don't know where the time goes.  I must admit that I will be a little bit sad to see September go.  It happens to be one of my favorite months!  October is another good one though, so it is all good!  Ok, onto the real reason you stopped by today. I do have a little bit of eye candy to share with you.  Here is the card I made this morning:

I was trying really hard to resist making another Fall project, but I just couldn't help myself and I let a little bit of Fall sneak in yet again! LOL  My card base is Mint Macaron and my layers are Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Copper.  That copper color makes my heart pitter patter so much quicker!  It is just so pretty!

As with lots of my cards lately, there is quite a lot going on here!  Lots of fun layers, shapes, textures and things peeking out at you!  My ink colors are Mint Macaron and Soft Suede. I used two different embossing folders to add some visual interest to things.  The leaf is embossed using the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Embossing folder and the card background is embossed using the Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder.  I added some sprig punches and some gold accent dots to make the whole thing feel balanced.

The stamp set I used for this card is called Love What You Do.  It is a truly beautiful set!  I added a simple flower on the inside.

I stamped the envelope to match the card and this little guy is ready to go now!

Here are all of the goodies that I used to create my card today:

Thank you so much for stopping by!  It is always so nice to visit with you!

Have a great day!
