Envie mini album!!

Hey there!!  Are you a fan of the mini album?  I love mini albums!  They are so much fun to make and require only a teeny amount of commitment to fill up!!  You can add pictures or scraps of souvenirs or other little mementos to help you remember those sweet, special times life has to offer!  I wanted to make one today, so I hauled out some supplies and threw this little guy together:

To make the base of this cutie pie I used 2 #10 envelopes measuring 4 1/8" x 9 1/2"!!  That is it!!  I covered it using pieces of Designer Paper from a 6" x 6" pad from the Regals collection.  I used all the wonderful Fall colors the pack had to offer!  The album measures 4 1/8" x 4 7/8".  It is so tiny and simply adorable!!  Want some how to details?

I took two envelopes and sealed them closed!

I cut both end edges off of ONE of the envelopes. Then I folded both envelopes in half and put the one with open ends on top (which makes it the middle pages of the album).

With the open ended envelope on top of the other one I simply sewed them together on the fold line.

Next I cut 8 pieces of beautiful looking Fall paper measuring 3 7/8" x 4 1/2".

Here are the pieces of DSP ready to decorate the naked album and the album ready to be dressed!

Before I added the page covers I folded a strip measuring 1 1/2" x 4 1/8" in half longways.

Using Tear and stick tape (you can use the adhesive of your choice!) I folded it around the seam and stuck it in place. Because there are so few pages in the album I didn't create a channel for the seam.  The fold allows the book to open and close smoothly while still covering the 'ugly' seam.

Next I added DSP to each of the pages.

Same book...I just flipped it upside down so you can see the backside of the pages.

Time to make some tags for those open ends!  You have room for 2 tags.  They measure 3 1/2" x 5" and tuck into those open ends you cut off earlier!

Book with tags.

Here is the first set of pages!  I added some decorations clusters using leftover scraps.  I made a few banners and circle punches to pretty up the pages!  I didn't want to add too much though so I can stick pictures in here.

Second set of pages!

Third set of pages.

Here the tags are peeking out!

Here they are on their own.  You can add pictures to the front and back! Lots of room in this little album for fun add-sies!!

Here is the whole thing ready for pictures and mementos!

Here are all of the goodies (minus the regular ole' envelopes!) that I used to create this project today!  If you want to make one and have any questions at all, feel free to email me!
