A Jolly Christmas to all!

Hello there!  Hope that you had a wonderful weekend!  Ours flew by.  We were busy from the time we opened our eyes on Saturday to the time our heads hit the pillows on Sunday. We are working on our house addition and I am tickled to say we made some significant progress this weekend.  I loooove productivity!  Once we get some of the mess cleaned up I will be sure to share some pictures with you guys!  Ok, on to the stamping chitter chatter! -------> Guess what? I am having a stamp class this week!  It is my first one in literally two years and I am starting to get really excited about it!  If you have followed my nutty life at all, you know that hubby and I spent two years care taking for  my grandma and that in the last few months I lost both my Mother and my Grandma.  I have been on a roller coaster of emotions and am in the process of trying to regain some normalcy.  I'll take any at this point.  So, back to working on our addition and back to stamping with my whole heart and some fun classes for me (and for you!)!  My first class back is going to be a Christmas in July class, so my card today is all about the Jolly.   Want to see?

I used the Layering Square Framelits to create a frame and tucked that sweet reindeer 'into' the picture.  I raised the frame part up off of the card with Dimenionals.   I added the gold swirl from the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits set behind the frame and added a matching gold star inside the frame.

I colored Rhinestones with a Garden Green marker and added those inside the frame too.

I just love this reindeer!  He looks so ready to get this Christmas party started!  I embossed the background with the Sparkle Embossing Folder and then I used a Signo White  Gel pen to add little dots to the frame.  I love adding little details to my projects.  I feel like it makes them look and feel more complete!

Sentiment is from the Father Christmas stamp set.  I matted it against Garden Green to add just a little more color and break up some of the white space.

Are you starting to feel in the Christmas mood yet?

Here are all of the goodies I used to create this card today.  Each picture is clickable and will take you to my online store if you'd like to do a little shopping!

I have some house painting to do today and since the ceilings aren't going to paint themselves, I better get to it!  Hope you have a very nice Monday! As always, I am very glad that you stopped by to visit.  I will be back soonest with more to share!
