Christmas in July!

Hello!  Jingle bells, jingle bells....can you feel that?  It's the feeling of Christmas in July!  If you are one of those super duper organized peeps that likes to get a jump on your holiday preparations or one of those peeps that just cannot get enough of Christmas----------> this post is for you!  I'm going to be hosting a Christmas in July class and wanted to get the mood flowing, so I pulled out some of my Christmas goodies and made a Christmas-y tag!  Want to see...?

I made a giant tag!  This could go on a giant present or be displayed on your mantle or sent as a Christmas card or even little gift itself!  I looooove tags!  They are so much fun to make and really do have lots of uses.  You can make them any size too!

I used the extra chip board piece that comes in my Paper Pumpkin every month for the tag base.  I covered it with a piece of Coffee Break DSP and then added a layer of Real Red and then Whisper White.

I added a torn strip of "snow" on the bottom (covered with Wink of Stella for that beautiful snowy sparkle!). Then I started layering all sorts of things from the Santa's Sleigh set and the At Home with You set.

No tag is complete without a sentiment!  This one is from the Santa's Sleigh set along with the star stamps and the die cuts are from the coordinating Santa's Sleigh Thinlits set.  That gorgeous copper trim is new and can spread out to make a giant bow or will stay in tact just like this for a more compact one.

Here is the whole tag again!  The door is from the At Home with You set and is all dressed up for Christmas. The wreath is popped up on Dimensionals.  I sponged the sky with Marina Mist to make it look like early evening out and added some stamped stars and some star die cuts in So Saffron.

Side view of the cute reindeer prancing in the snow.

Fa, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, laaaaaaaaa!!

Here are all the goodies I used to make my tag:

If you have any questions about the tag or would like any info about attending my class feel free to send me an email or leave me a comment.

I hope you have a great day!  I'll be back soonest with more to share!
