Hello and happy Wednesday to you! I was sitting in my stamp room this morning looking around at all of the projects that I have 'in the works!'. It's not that I have a problem finishing things (well, ok...that is a post for a different day!), it's just that I like to try lots of fun new things! I finally decided that the problem isn't that I have too many things going on at once, it's just that there simply are not enough hours in the day! I wish there were about 5.3 more hours! I do believe I'd spend most of them crafting!
Ok, on to the little card I made today!
My card today has lots of layers. I used The Petals and More card kit and the Petals and Garden DSP. I combined them with Crumb Cake and Whisper White for a nice contrast.
I stamped my sentiment using All Things Thanks and then I used the Stitched Shaped Framelits to cut it out. It cuts and adds the stitching all in one pass...bonus! I also hand cut the little banner shapes in the ends of the 2 decorative strips.
I used the new Layered Leaves Dynamic Embossing Folder (Phew! That's a mouthful!) to emboss the background Whisper White piece. It adds a nice little bit of texture. I stamped the little green flowers by stamping off once in Old Olive and then stamping my actual card piece. I just wanted a subtle, little something to fill in the empty space. There you have it! Easy peasy and ready to hit the mail to brighten someone's day!
Here are all of the goodies I used to create this card:

Ok, I am off to get my day going. Hope your's is awesome! I'll be back soonest with more to share!
If there was a lot more time each day we'd probably run out of time to do even more "schtuff" Just relax and take it one thing at a time. There will always be something left over at the end of the day to tackle tomorrow! LOL
ReplyDeleteLove your card today! Pretty color combo!
