Christmas in July class fun!!

Hey there!  I have some really fun pictures to share with you today!  I hosted my first stamping class in over two years Thursday night and we had an absolute blast!  We had a full house and there was lots of stamping, giggling and snacking going on!  I planned several projects for the girls to do and thought it would be fun to share those with you guys. I wish you all could have attended, but since you couldn't make it I'll post here and we can pretend you were there...let's get started!

First, I put out the holiday welcome mat!  Welcome to the party!

Next I hung a wreath to set the mood and played Christmas Carols. I had Christmas cookies baking as everyone arrived!  Yum!

I set out a few decorations!

Nutcrackers and some garland!

Displayed some Christmas cards and projects!

I set the table. Everyone got a few little goodies to say thank you for attending

I even set up a tree and lit the lights!  Nothing says Merry Christmas like twinkling, glimmering lights!

I made everyone a wooden crate (using the Crate framelits) full of candy !  I used the Pansy punch and Blossom Builder punch to make the flower.

Very first thing we did was to play a game!  I paired everyone up and one person made the card while the other person directed them how to...the catch was that the person making the card had to close their eyes!  Fun!  Also, they were working against the clock!  2 minutes to make their card!  I think they all did an AWESOME job!!

Then I showed everyone how to make a quick gift holder.  ((Big thank you to my friend Traci for sharing this idea with me!))  These are great for little gifts for a friend, or bank teller or mail carrier etc.  They are super quick and super easy, but are simply adorable!

Ok, on to the first project!  We made a one sheet box that later held almost all of the projects we made.  Then we made a little matching 3 x 3 card.

This box is also a great little gift holder!

The matching card.

Box from the front.

2nd project was a shaker card using the Lovely as a Tree stamp set and the Window framelits.

We added sequin snow and a cheery holiday bow on top of the window!

Side view of the adhesive strips.  The background is embossed with the Brick Wall Embossing Folder.

Next project was a flip and twist card.

Step one!

Step two!

Step three!!

The card completely opened up!  Fun stuff!

We made a little bit of house decor too! Project number 4!

I just loooove this sweet deer!

Last one was a tag!

The flower matched the flower on the candy crates!

And that was the party!

Sadly, I forgot to get a shot of the food!  We had cookies and cake and crackers and dip and fruit!

I had forgotten just how much fun classes can be!  I am already excited about the next one!

We used a ton of different products, so I won't be listing them individually, but if you have questions please feel free to ask away!

I hope you enjoyed the class (even if you attended virtually!)

I will be back soonest with more to share!  Have a great weekend!
