You make me happy!

Hey there!  I have a quick, fun little project to share with you today!  I do have to ask that you use your imagination when you see it though.  My pictures are missing the finishing touch!  Short story long...I wanted to make a little gift for a very special friend.  I am so incredibly fortunate to have so many wonderful friends and today I had the chance to give one of my friends a little goody. This friend has been a very important part of my support network lately.  Losing my Mom and Grandma has been very difficult and she has been there for countless talks, hugs and support.  I am very happy to have her and wanted to say thank you, so I made her this little duo:

This is where I need you to use your imagination!  The little wooden crate was actually full of candy when she received it! LOL It was all gold and sparkly and yummy! (I know because when you are giving a good friend a gift with candy they don't mind if you sample a piece or two first!)  I decorated the little crate and made a tiny little card to go with it, because  nothing says I love you better to a friend than a pair of piggies!

I stamped and fussy cut her out along with some clouds. I used an aqua painter to give her some color.  I hand cut a strip of grass and used the Stitched Shapes Framelits to cut out my sentiment.   I used the Layering Ovals for the scalloped background.  The sentiment is from Birthday Blossom.

I added a small scrap of DSP to the bottom to keep all of the candy goodness on the inside.

I stamped the little piggy a second time for the card and added some Rhinestones for a little extra sparkle.  I used Blushing Bride, Old Olive and Very Vanilla card stock.  I just love this little pig!

Here is a list of the items I used to make my project today:

Hope your day is going well!  I will be back soonest with more to share!
