Life is a beautiful thing!

Hey there!  How was your weekend?  Hope it was a good one.  Mine was very nice.  I got to visit with a couple of my children, not once, but twice!!  It worked out that 2 of our kiddos were able to come over for dinner 2 nights in a row and I absolutely loved it.  When life gets really busy it gets harder and harder to coordinate events where everyone can attend.  We were planning a get together of all of our kiddo's, but some things came up and it didn't quite work out.  Fingers crossed we have a rescheduled date coming up really soon though! I plan to get some family pics when we are all together and so I sat down and made a little album to house them.  It's nothing fancy, but will look cute and feel happy stuffed full of family pictures.  Would you like to to see?

It measures 4 1/2" x 6". I used a 1/2" scored/folded system to create the binding.  I added a Crumb cake spine cover after I embossed it with the Sparkle EF and used a cereal box to make my front and back covers. I fussy cut a piece of DSP from the Petal Garden DSP pack and added some bling and that gorgeous silver butterfly.

It has 5 pages which will give me lots of room for pictures! I am hoping to fill it enough so that it looks super chunky.  I may wind up adding a closing latch later if it gets to full to lay closed flat. My pages are made from Blushing Bride with a Very Vanilla matted piece on top of each one.

I punched a 1" circle from the reverse side of the flower paper and cut it in half and tucked it under the left side to balance out the color.  I only adhered the butterfly down in the center so that it appears to be hovering over the page.

I stamped the sentiment using Berry Burst and the used the Stitched Framelits to cut it out.  The sentiment is from Colorful Seasons.  I added the dots from the Playful Backgrounds set in Powder Pink to fill in some of the extra white space.

I am really excited to get it stuffed full of pictures!

Here are all of the goodies I used to create my album:

Ok, I am off!  I have such a crazy to do list this week that my head is spinning just thinking about it. We are still working on our addition!  I am fairly confidant at this point that it may never end!  I am going to be doing some painting, caulking, floor installing, cleaning, organizing and decluttering!  Wish me luck!

Have a great day and I will be back soonest with more to share!
