Christmas Card Sunday!

Hello there!  Having a nice weekend?  I sure hope so!  Hubby and I are getting ready to go out and run an unusual errand....we are going kayak shopping!!  I am so excited I can barely stand it!!  If you know me you know that I am not a fan of the water.  In fact, I find it to be kind of terrifying! However, I decided earlier this year that I was turning over a new leaf and going to step outside of my comfort zone!!  So, today we are kayak shopping!!  Wooo hoooo!! (One day I might even ride in it!...kidding!)  Wonder if I can practice in the bathtub?! LOL

On a totally different note I made a Christmas card this morning that I wanted to share with you today!!  Clock is ticking and the magical season will be here before we know it!!  Have you started your cards yet?  This makes 2 so far for me!

I think that this is by far my very favorite holiday set in the catalog!!  I just love that sweet deer!!  He is so majestic looking.  I just want to share cookies with him and watch the snow fall! LOL

I created falling snow with the Softly Falling embossing folder and tore a strip of Whisper White to add to the bottom to show that it has been snowing a while.  I painted the top rough edge of my snow with the Wink of Stella glitter brush and sponged the background with Marina Mist for a soft night time feel.  I combined Whisper White, Old Olive, Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler. I matted the sentiment against a Gold Foil sheet and used the Layering Ovals to cut out both layers. Happy season to you!!

Here are all of the goodies that I used to create my card:

Ok, we are off the get that kayak!!  Wish me luck!!

Have a wonderful day!  I will be back soonest with more to share!
