Hello there! Guess what?!! Guess what?!! Calling all scrap bookers, card maker's, project do-ers and paper lovers!!! Stampin' Up! is having an awesome sale on their DSP!! They have a whole list to choose from and they are buy 3, get 1 free!!! *swoons!!* Ah, be still my paper loving heart! This is very happy news for a paper crafter like myself! I will be showing projects all week long using some of the DSP!! (I have stocked up for a raining day!) Here is my project today using the gorgeous Painted Autumn DSP:
I am a big fan of Fall, so getting this paper was a no brainer for me! It actually called gently to me from the catalog! This project shows off both sides of one of the sheets in this set. I used one side for the 3 x 3 card background and fussy cut pumpkins from the other side for both the front of the crate and the front of the card.
I tucked a piece of the paper inside before adding the goodies. I love the pop of color that adds to the crate.
I made a grassy background by cutting a piece of Pear Pizazz and cutting tiny slits into it across the top to create the grass. I added the pumpkins with dimensionals and added a bow tie using the linen thread.
Here is a side view all stuffed with candy! This little crate is just adorable and goes together very quickly!
I made a 3 x 3 card to accompany the crate full of candy goodness. I matted the DSP against Very Vanilla and then against Soft Suede.
The sentiment is from Colorful Seasons and I used the Layering Ovals Framelits and the Stitched Shapes Framelits. I added a few gold accents using a standard hole punch and Gold Glimmer paper. I also added dots using a Soft Suede marker for a little extra brown.
This will make a great little gift! I cannot wait to gift it away!
Here are the goodies I used to create my little project today:
