I started by stamping the tulips using the Tranquil Tulips stamp set. It is both a Two step stamp set and a Hostess set. I stamped the more solid pieces in Blushing Bride and the darker more detailed pieces in Melon Mambo. It gives the flowers a great 3d effect. I really like this set because the images have a water colored look to them.
I ran the card base through the Quilt Top embossing folder and added the silver accents by hole punching Silver Glimmer paper. That very sweet sentiment is from the Watercolor Wings stamp set.

Wanted to share a little tip with you guys! I used the Everyday Label punch for my sentiment, but I put it back into the punch and punched a second time to make it smaller! Just a little thing, but it allows you to get more bang for your punch-y buck!! :)
This is what I punched off the second time.
Here are the products that I used to make my card today:

So, on to that story I promised!! It is terrifying!! If you want to brave hearing it, read on, otherwise feel free to stop here and check back in tomorrow! Here goes: Hubby normally gets up first and takes our pooch outside. This morning though I was up first and thought I would let him sleep in a bit. Big mistake. I called the hound and we headed towards the door. It is pretty private where we live so I was still in my jammies. I open the door and then it happened.......my WORST nightmare!!! I snake fell from the top of the door frame ONTO ME!!!!!!! AUUUUGHHHH!!!! I love all animals, but snakes are my least favorite critters...ever!! He bounced off my body and then had the nerve to look at me like I had ruined his day!! Whuuuut?!! *shivers!!* In short, I have started packing and will be moving. LOL
Here is a picture of the little stinker:
*shivers again!* Blech!!!
I hope that you have a wonderful (snake free!!) day! I will be back soonest with more to share!
