Two for Tuesday!!

Hi there! Happy Tuesday to you!  I have decided to start a new Tuesday tradition!  Starting today and going forward on Tuesdays, I will be posting 2 projects using the same stamp set or technique or DSP or...you get the picture!  I thought it might be a fun way to discuss variety!  Today's projects are both made from a 12" x 12" sheet of DSP! They are the same project, but look completely different! Take a look:

I used the Envelope Punch Board to make these bags.  I found the tutorial on Pinterest.   If you are interested in making one you can search on Envelope punch board and lots of different choices will pop up!  I wasn't sure who to give original credit to for this reason.   These little guys are super, duper cute and look how different they are!!  I folded the top down for the first one making a closed bag, but left it open f0r more of a treat bag on the second one!

The first one uses DSP from the Painted Autumn pack.  There is a lot of variety in the pack.  I used both sides of one sheet for this project though.  The orange the bag is made from is the front and the black behind the cat is its back.  I layered 4 circles from the Layering circles Framelits set and added that sweet  punched kitty cat!  I turned the sentiment into a banner and roughed it up by sponging the edges and ruffling them some with my fingernail.

I used the Decorative Ribbon border punch for the top to dress the bag up! Now it is ready to be filled with lots of treats for Halloween!

Here are the goodies I used to make this bag:

Here is the second one I made!  This DSP is from the Delightful Daisy pack!  That paper is also absolutely stunning!  The bag is made from the front side and the border on the bottom bag is the other side of this piece.  I love how Stampin' Up! coordinates their paper so you can use them together like that!

I added the stamped and punched daisies to the flap of the bag and tied a ribbon in place to hold the whole thing together!  I tucked a leaf from the Leaf punch behind the daisy for a touch of extra color and added a Metallic dot to the center for a pop of gold and glitter!  Fun!!

Here is a close up of the daisy!  This one looks very sweet and feminine to me!

Here are the goodies I used to make this bag:

See two comepletely different projects using the same basic tutorial!  Changing th DSP makes them look completely different!!

Don't forget about the awesome paper sale Stampin' Up! has going on right now!!  Here is more info about:

Hope you enjoyed my first Two for Tuesday!  Leave me a comment and let me know what you think or if you'd like to see a particular stamp set or project used! I look forward to hearing from you!

I will be back soonest with more to share!  Have a great day!
