Two for Tuesday!

Heeey there!  It's Tuesday!  That means I have made two very different projects using similar items!  Today I chose the Painted Harvest stamp set!  Have you seen that gorgeous thing yet?!  *thud...falls over!*  It is absolutely beautiful!  It is a Two Step stamp set with so many possible color combo ideas it's nutty!  Here are two examples of what I mean:

Is that flower not just jaw dropping pretty?!  I made a regular sized card and a 3 x 3 card and used different colors and got a completely different look and feel.  I just cannot say enough about this set!

The first card uses So Saffron, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla.  It has a traditional sunflower look to it.  I stamped the flower base once in So Saffron, turned the stamp and re-inked and stamped it again.  I wanted a full looking flower.   Then I stamped the second (hence two step stamping!) more detailed stamp on top using Crushed Curry ink.  The center is Soft Suede.  I repeated the same process for the background, but stamping off each time for a lighter look.  This gives you lots of color variations from one stamp pad!

All of these stamps including the sentiment are from the Painted Harvest stamp set.  Be still my pitter patter-y flower loving heart!

I added a few gold foil accents punched from a standard hole punch to jazz it up a bit.

For my second project I used Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White and Basic Black.  It is a bold, striking combo!  Totally different feel than the soft sunflowers above!  The sentiment is from the Paint Play stamp set.

I repeated the process above to create this flower, but instead of using multiple colors I just used Cherry Cobbler and stamped off the lighter (base) color and then stamped the detailed stamp full strength.

Here are all of the products I used to create these two very different cards:

Ok, that's it for me today, but I will be back soonest with more to share!  Have a great day!
