Hiya! Iiiiiitttt's two for Tuesday!! That means two projects using similar products, but that look totally different. Phew! That is a mouthful! Today I did kind of a four-fer Tuesday! I used one stamp set to create two completely different projects and used the new Blends markers to color them. Hmmmm, that may only be a three-fer! Ok, well enough of that! Let's get to the projects:
Here they are together. Two totally different looks using the Birthday Blooms stamp set and the new Blends markers. I am loving them!! They color beautifully! They are so smooth and blend like nobody's business!
I used Pear Pizzazz as my card base. I wanted this card to have a warm, soft friendly feel to it. I embossed the large Whisper White piece with the Basic Polka Dot Embossing Folder. I used the light and dark marker combos of Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive to color the image.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set and I stamped it on a Whisper White 1 1/2" Circle with Garden Green and then mounted it onto a 1 3/4" Circle of Blushing Bride.
I gave the flower a bit of a shadow with a Smoky Slate marker and added Silver accents using a standard hole punch and Silver Glimmer paper.
On to project #2. It is a simple little gift tag, but would dress up any gift nicely! I used the Daffodil Delight combo and Old Olive Blends combos for this one. I also added some shading with the dark Pumpkin Pie Blend marker and added shading on the under side of the flower.
The strip across the bottom is a scrap...keep your scraps!! I added a tiny stamped heart from the Tabs for everything stamp set on a 1/2" circle punch to complete it.
Here is a list of all of the goodies I used today to create these two projects:
