Hello friend...!

Hi there!  How are you today?  I was thinking about it this morning while I was making my card and decided that I am very lucky to have so many really wonderful people in my life!  Being a Navy brat means that I have traveled a lot;  which also means I have had the opportunity to meet lots of people!  I am fortunate to still be in contact with folks I went to high school with (waving....goooo Panthers!) and then throughout my adult life I have met and bonded with many amazing people.  Stamping has also introduced me to lots of fantastic new friends. I have discovered over the years that crafter's have gigantic hearts and make super duper friends.  I have struggled a lot this year with some personal issues and my stamping buddies have been there and seen me through some very difficult times.  For that and for them I am grateful.  Today my card is a warm and fuzzy shout out to the folks I am lucky enough to call friends. Much love, my friends...

Fall is in the air and definitely played an inspirational part in this card today!  My card base is Pumpkin Pie with a piece of DSP from the Painted Autumn pack on top of it.  On top of that is a piece of Very Vanilla which I ran through the Pinewood Planks EF.  Those fun pine branches are from the Pretty Pines Thinlits set.

I used the Stitched Shapes and Layering Squares Framelits for the image.  I tripled matted it sandwiching Gold Foil in the center.  I used an Early Espresso Marker to add the dots onto the scallops.  The sentiment is from the Hello Friend set and I used circle punches to mat it and popped it up on a dimensional.

I added a little linen thread bow tie to the center and added some gold foil accent dots.

Wanted to share a tip with you!  Any time you mat layers you should see if you can use the centers of the paper.  This will save paper and because it gets hidden under the next layer no one will ever even know!  It is win win!  Here I cut out the center of my DSP and flipped it over.  The other side is where I got the cool pumpkins.  I fussy cut them and assembled the whole thing making the best use of my paper. See!  Win win!

Here are all of the goodies that I used today to make my card:
